Northeastern Spirituality Dialogue and Service
Overview:
Since my freshman year at Northeastern i’ve been a part of a the CSDS’s graphic design team. Which is a campus organization which oversees and aids in all of the spiritual and religious clubs on campus, our role in that is helping create flyers, social media posts, posters, ect. As the “umbrella company” for all these clubs we create a very versatile amount of work as it based on request. For a very fast turn over of the graphics all the designers use canva as our medium.

Short Reflection:
From my time at CSDS, especially when it comes to the religious content, i’ve come to learn how to handle and design for more sensitive topics. Even if it’s as simple as searching up and learning about the thing you are designing for can lead to a lot of discoveries in design but also just teach you a lot about different walks of life. other than learning how to better design for dialogue and inclusion something I would definitely want to work on is advancing my designs in a program like photoshop. Especially if i know a graphic is going to become a poster for many students to see I should invest more time into each to make it something specifically eye catching.
